On the biggest and loveliest beaches of Peloponnisos in the Laconian gulf, on the beach of Mavrovouni is the pension “ALKION” ,ready to accommodate you in its twelve lovely and fully equipped apartments and one bungalow with room for six people.

In direct contact with the sand, they have a kitchen, bathroom, air condition and cable T.V. each (two bedded and four bedded) with daily cleaning and regular bed linen changes. There is also a vast garden, playground,parking and  wireless Internet. A café is available as well for breakfast, refreshments, pizza and a variety of snacks. The beach of Mavrovouni is only 2 kilometers from the center of Gythion. Gythion is a pretty picturesque port with many beautiful sights as the Ancient Theatre, Akoumaros, the isle of Kranai or Marathonisi with the tower of Tzannetaki and the magnificent marble Lighthouse which is 22 meters high. Continuing south we reach Inner Mani with its old Manian Towers, the unique Caves of Diros and the cape of Tenaros which is the southest point of Peloponnisos but also Europe. You can also visit Mistra and Monemvasia.
